Sardinia has so many beauties that it is always the right destination for every type of traveller. Making a list of places or activities is very difficult because each of us receives emotions from very different things but I will try to make you understand what this beautiful island of ours can give.

Sardinia is a city with Cagliari, the capital. A lively city, rich in culture, history and events, livable with a beautiful beach that overlooks a crystal clear sea. In the port, especially during winter, it is not difficult to see the dolphins, while in the sky flocks of pink flamingos move between the ponds that frame the city.
It is a city with Sassari bourgeois and rich in history. With Olbia port of arrival for the Costa Smeralda. Oristano, Nuoro, Iglesias, with their churches, museums, characteristic historical centres.

The nature with the beaches, the trekking along the coasts, the rivers and the waterfalls, the caves, the mountain paths among refuges and breathtaking cliffs, the cultivated fields and the meadows in bloom, the coves to discover, the seabeds to observe, the water sports, hiking, the bird-watching, the last griffons, the dolphins and the whales, the white donkeys and the horses of the Giara.

Its villages and castles with Posada, Bosa, Siliqua, Orgosolo, Carloforte, Castelsardo and many others.

Its prehistory and history with the many museums scattered throughout the island, the nuraghi, the Phoenician, Punic and Roman sites, the Aragonese towers that dot the coast, the bourgeois palaces of the cities and the countless churches from Romanesque to Baroque.

Its art with the memory and the works of many Sardinian artists, including contemporary ones such as Costantino Nivola in Orani, Pinuccio Sciola in San Sperate, Maria Lai in Ulassai, Edina Altara in Sassari and an active and original artistic production of the many living artists whose production has ancient roots but gives contemporary works, which are often modern and innovative in terms of techniques and ideas.

Its wine, gastronomy and folklore with a living and careful agriculture, sheep-farming handed down from father to son, popular festivals that keep alive the ancient tradition of religious masks and processions that involve the whole island.

Its craftsmanship and tradition with gold filigree, ceramics, byssus spinning, knives, baskets and much more.

It’s exciting with sunsets by the sea, dawn with a pinkish sky and soft colours, crickets singing in the evening and cicadas under the scorching sun, the scent of the air changing from month to month, the screams of birds crossing the skies in the mountains and sheep, goats, foxes and deer accompanying you from the plains to the most inaccessible mountains.

Sardinia is all this and much more, it is the experience of being able to immerse yourself in a land still authentic, with ancient values, eager to welcome travellers all year round to enjoy the climate and tranquillity of a long summer that commences from May to October, and a mild winter that on sunny days can enable you have a good swim in the sea even in December or April.
