We’ve all been through some rough months, weeks have been a never-ending succession of news, prohibitions, fears…but now we can finally experience freedom again. Looking at my island after the lookdown was very exciting, it was like rediscovering it once again, more colorful and beautiful than ever. My restless mind is craving for colours, scents, nature, sea, history. I have hunger for life and freedom but I’m also looking forward to seeing you.

I’d like to see you on the beaches amazed by the colours and in love with the crystal-clear water. I’d like to meet each other again in the woods, intoxicated by the scent of the Mediterranean scrub, it is released by the sun, but it becomes particularly intense at sunset, when the air is more gentle and fresh. I’d like to see you while you’re tasting our local food, sipping a good wine and feeling like you were at home, even though it’s you’re first time here. It would be wonderful to meet us again in museums and archeological sites, amazed by our antique history and by the ancient civilization of the builders of Nuraghe or Domus de Janas. I can’t wait to meet you because every time I look around me, I feel blessed and I wish that you all could also be nourished by this beauty.

You, the people who love this Island and who often come back to visit us and you, that have never been here but you’re dreaming about it, having seen thousands of photographs. I hope with all my heart that you want to visit us and that you can do it, because sharing beauty amplifies the emotions. Slow walkers, genuineness and peace chaser, attentive and mindful tourists are precious to us, people who deal with tourism for the love of it. Yes, you are precious because you bring your joyful wonder to us, you help us to keep memories alive with your curiosity about what sourrounds you. You remind us how blessed we are by living here, nourishing our perseverance and our courage, that we need in order to keep doing our wonderful and difficult job: to love our land and to promote it, by defending its identity, nature, culture and freedom. Sardinia is a huge enjoyable garden, come and discover it.

Never as today are open spaces the best places where to be happy and where to feel safe: taking you there represents a great chance to enjoy it together. Small villages, the most hidden beaches, dense and luxuriant woods, through paths and trekking, hundreds of open air archaeological sites, evenings spent in the countryside or by the sea, tasting dishes cooked by skilled hands: whatever you love to do, with us you can find it and experience it deeply, because holidays are emotions and getting excited here is as easy as breathing.
